North American Pacman fans will soon have an opportunity to prove their skills against other players.

Starting on October 9 and running through to December 5, there will be eight open-entry Pac-Man 99 Challenge events hosted by well-known content creators. Each event will comprise 10 Password Match game lobbies. Points will be earned on the leader board based on the player’s position in each game, ranging from 1 point for 99th place to 50 points for a victory.

Players who earn a top-five position will win a Deluxe Pack DLC and official merchandise.

Tournament details will be made available on the Pac-Man 99 Challenge website, with the first content creator partner announced on October 6 on their Twitter feed.
