Atari have plans to release new limited-edition cartridges for their classic Atari 2600 console. The games are Yars’ Return, Saboteur and Aquventure. These games are due to be given the Atari XP treatment and will be shopped in May 2022.
Atari have released the design of these cartridges. They have departed from the traditional square label of the original Atari 2600 cartridges and now feature large, bold illustrations on the front panel and a premium, uniquely numbered sticker label on the back.
The game titles will also be etched with premium, lucite with a lighting feature that activates when inserted into the Atari 2600 console.
