FPS: First Person Shooter is an upcoming project that promises to be a definitive documentary of the First Person Shooter genre of games. It promises to remind us of the legends that created this genre, and highlights the legacy of some of the most popular games.
More than 35 of the genres most influential creators have already signed on to be part of this documentary. This all-star cast will take everyone on a journey from the earliest FPS games released in the 1970s, all the way through to the modern day. A large number of classic games and software houses will be represented.
The documentary will be produced by CREATORVC, an independent producer of community-powered entertainment. This is the same team that produced “In Search of Darkness”, covering the horror films and their characters from the 1980s.
